Orlando Citrus Parade

2010 Orlando Citrus Parade
Citrus Floats

The spectacular and unique citrus floats begin as a design concept on paper and computers months in advance. Once the design is complete, a steel and wired framework structure is constructed by professionals float builders. Just days prior to the parade, the floats are pulled from their warehouses and taken to the Orange County Convention Center where over 600 volunteers carefully attach the oranges, tangerines and grapefruits using rubber bands. Finally, the magnificent citrus floats are driven to Downtown Orlando for the big event!

  • Be sure to include your name, age, address, phone number, school, teacher's name, parent or guardian's name, and parent or guardian's signature.

  • Only entries received by the deadline will be considered. Submissions will not be returned.
  • For those participants who received this from their class or after school program, please turn in your contest entry to your teacher or program director for submission.
