Tickets for both the 65th Annual Capital One Bowl and the 21st Annual Champs Sports Bowl are now on sale to the general public. Tickets may be purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet, at Amway Arena, by phone (800.745.3000) or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices for both games are scaled based on ticket location.

Reality TV power couple Giuliana and Bill Rancic will host the nationally-syndicated broadcast of the Orlando Citrus Parade this winter.  The 30th Anniversary edition of the parade steps off in Downtown Orlando at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30.

Florida Citrus Sports Hosts Free NCAA Football Youth Clinic

On Wednesday, July 28, Florida Citrus Sports hosted a free youth football clinic in partnership with NCAA Football’s Youth Initiative.  Held in the shadow of the Citrus Bowl as installation of the new AstroTurf field continued, the clinic featured coaches and players from UCF, the University of West Georgia and Jacksonville University, as well as local professional players from the Arena Football League's Orlando Predators and the United Football League’s Florida Tuskers.

Citrus Bowl Goes To AstroTurf As New Field Installation Begins

The City of Orlando, in concert with Florida Citrus Sports officials, have selected AstroTurf® as the provider of the new playing surface at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. The selection took place following a detailed consultation with Stantec and Patrick Maguire, one of the world’s premier turf management and design firms and experts, respectively. Installation will begin immediately and is scheduled to be completed prior to the September 5th MEAC/SWAC Challenge between Southern and Delaware State.

Florida Citrus Sports Shootout Pairs UF-UCF At Amway Center

The University of Florida and UCF basketball teams will meet later this year in Orlando for the Florida Citrus Sports Shootout.  The “Shootout” will take place Wednesday, December 1, and will be the first-ever collegiate game at the brand-new Amway Center in Orlando. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster outlets and online at Ticketmaster.com.  Ticket prices for the FCSports Shootout range from $15-100 with lower bowl tickets as affordable as $15.

2010 Champs Sports Bowl Date & Time Announced

The 2010 Champs Sports Bowl will be played at 6:30 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, December 28.  The game, the first of two bowls hosted in Orlando, will air nationwide on ESPN.

Florida Citrus Sports Names President, Annual Award Recipients

Florida Citrus Sports CEO Steve Hogan announced Thursday that Harvey Massey, CEO/Chairman of Massey Services, has earned the not-for-profit's highest service honor, the Howard Palmer Award.   The award was presented to Massey, a former FCSports chairman and long-time organization trailblazer, during the organization's annual Member Celebration held at 55 West in Downtown Orlando.  Also at the event, Bright House Networks Vice President of Operations Michel Champagne began his one-year term as FCSports' president.
